21st Annual Pain Medicine Meeting
Plan now to join ASRA Pain Medicine for the 21st Annual Pain Medicine Meeting, being held November 17-19, 2022, at the Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek in Orlando, FL. We have an exciting program planned! ASRA Pain Medicine’s vision is to “Relieve the Global Burden of Pain,” and this event is intended to deliver on that goal. With an impressive list of faculty experts in chronic pain and neuromodulation from around the world - and a growing number of international attendees over the last several years – this meeting’s reach is intended to extend beyond the traditional three-day conference. Under a meeting theme of “Making Connections,” our multidisciplinary faculty will hail from nearly every continent to share their expertise on fresh and timely topics, whether it’s injuries in the workplace, equity in neuromodulation, or immigrant and refugee health.
48th Annual Regional Anesthesiology and Acute Pain Medicine Meeting
With a theme of "A Century of Innovation and a Future of Inclusivity," recognizing the 100th anniversary of the founding of the original American Society of Regional Anesthesia (ASRA) by Gaston Labat in 1923, this meeting will demonstrate the many benefits of embracing diversity and inclusion. We will look closely at gender, racial, ethnic, and LGBTQIA+ health equity. We also will embrace diversity in thought and practice by, for the first time, weaving point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) and pediatric elements into our traditionally adult regional anesthesia workshops. Other highlights include the role of advocacy and innovations in the perioperative setting through complementary medicine techniques such as acupuncture, hypnosis, and music therapy.
